This project involves the comprehensive renovation of an existing warehouse space to accommodate large testing chambers specifically designed for air conditioning units. Given the constraints of less than 1 foot of clearance between the chambers and the existing structure, careful coordination and precision were paramount throughout the renovation process.

The precise location of utilities was critical to avoid interference with the equipment housed within the chambers. A new cooling tower, water softener system, and high-volume air compressor were installed to meet the operational demands of the testing chambers. Additionally, a comprehensive network of floor drains was installed inside the chambers for efficient removal of condensate generated during testing. Modifications to the roof structure were necessary to accommodate additional HVAC capacity. Special design considerations were implemented for a chemical dispensing area designated for 55-gallon drums of hazardous chemicals.
