Design-Bid-Build

Charged with relocating two specialized laboratories—one from Houston and another from Canada—into a facility with no existing lab infrastructure, Precision Architecture met the challenge head-on. The team successfully retrofitted a pre-engineered metal building to accommodate highly sensitive H₂S Gas and Sour Laboratories, along with all necessary lab support functions.

Given the hazardous nature of the materials involved, life-safety systems were a critical priority. The facility was outfitted with a dedicated H₂S scrubber, a backup generator, and large, redundant HVAC units to ensure continuous operation and safety under all conditions. To meet stringent environmental standards, a plume dispersion study was conducted to validate compliance with TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality) regulations regarding the discharge of scrubbed exhaust.

Through careful coordination, advanced engineering, and a focus on regulatory compliance, PA delivered a high-performance, safety-first laboratory environment tailored to the client’s complex operational needs.
